Lungs and Large Intestine – So Connected

In Chinese medicine, different energy pathways that travel through the body are known as meridians. They affect the whole body; the organs, glands, tissues, nerves, bones, muscles, skin, hair, eyes and ears – down to the cellular level. The meridians originate in the organs and are paired: one is positive and the other negative, just like a battery. The yin and the yang, as referenced in Chinese or Ayurvedic medicine, is the terminology used.
Paired organs for the meridians are as follows: Stomach/Spleen, Heart/Small Intestine, Liver/Gallbladder, Lungs/Large Intestine, Kidney/Bladder, Pericardium/Triple Burner.
My specialty (or focus) as a colon hydrotherapist, is the Large Intestine. This means that the large intestines’ ‘partner’ is the Lungs. When toxins, stagnation, gas, putrefication, heavy metals, toxic chemicals, and fungi are removed from the colon, the Lungs also benefits.
During this worldwide covid plandemic, I hear again and again the emphasis of washing your hands, coughing into your elbow, covering your mouth and nose. But no one is saying…clean your colon to strengthen the immune system by eliminating toxic buildup there.
If your immune system is weak due to toxins in your colon, your Lungs will also be compromised. The Lungs will not want to hold onto the toxins. Rather, it will pass those toxins to the lymph system. You can tell if the Lungs are in overload by massaging or pressing points around the armpits and outer sides of the breasts. If soreness or congestion is present, there is stagnation of the energy. The toxins are unable to leave the body through the normal channels of elimination. Remember that the colon shares its toxic overload with the Lungs. If the Lungs reject the toxins, the next stop (or chosen storage space) is the vulnerable breast tissue due to the close proximity to the Lungs. Toxins love to store themselves in the fatty breast tissue.
Breast massage, lymphatic massage/drainage and exercise including using a mini trampoline all aid in colon cleansing. These are easy steps to take to eliminate tenderness and stagnation before something more serious develops. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Not only does the Large Intestine “Colon” directly affect the Lungs, lymph and breasts, but a dirty colon will influence the Liver/Gall Bladder, Stomach/Spleen simply due to its proximity. It is physically located just below all these organs. It resides up against the diaphragm…also affecting our breathing. Don’t forget the ‘arms’ of the colon, the ascending and descending colon, surround our reproductive organs. Who do you know that has problems with their prostate, bladder, ED, ovary, uterus, cystitis, candida, fungal infections or asthma?
It is rare that anyone looks to the colon for the solution. It has been said by doctors of old… “Life or death begins in the colon”. A clean colon brings life! I do what I do because it makes a difference, improving health and restoring vibrance and vitality to the body, mind and spirit.
Health IS wealth…I wish you both.
Love, Bill
PS. Remember, you will never be able to run from microbes. They are invisible and are everywhere! A mask will never protect you from microbes, but a strong immune system will!
Bill Haggard is without a doubt one of the top colon hydro-therapists in the Southwest. Bill has treated me for the past 4 years with amazing results. I came to Bill with HCV and no energy. After working on “emptying the garbage can” as Bill refers to the colon, my energy returned, and my quality of life increased dramatically. Everyone owes it to themselves to schedule a session with Bill, He is truly awesome and works wonders. – S. C., ABQ
