There are those with obvious health issues. And there are those who don’t appear to have health issues, but by observing their lifestyles and food choices, we know they are likely heading for serious trouble if they don’t make changes. There are individuals who appear to be perfect specimens of health (runners, athletes, football players, etc.) that just drop dead all of a sudden. And there are people who have all the energy necessary to be good students, earn top grades, go on to be doctors, lawyers, chemists, engineers or have what it takes to excel in athletics. Are they healthy?

If you were born with a good constitution, there seems to be no rules for you. You can smoke, drink, stay up late, abuse substances and seem to not be affected. You can do it again and again for long periods of time. Even though loved ones wish and even plead for you to change—all requests fall on deaf ears. You haven’t hit bottom yet. You are still highly operational. You are operating on what I call Toxic Strength (basically adrenalin).

Whenever our bodies are threatened, adrenalin is the safety mechanism in place to protect us. It is our fight or flight mechanism. This mechanism gives us extra strength when needed, so we can fight and not feel the blows or run really fast to get out of harm’s way. This wonderful safety mechanism was not intended to be the way we operate on a daily basis. When we do, eventually, we crash and burn.

Like it or not, our bodies have operating principles. When we adhere to these principles, we can expect a more abundant life mentally, emotionally and physically. It’s like your automobile…if you give it the proper fuel, change the oil and filter in a timely manner, do a tune up and maintenance periodically, your vehicle will serve you well. But you can also ignore these principles…buy cheap fuel, never change the oil and filter, etc. Your car will get you where you want to go, but you are likely headed for a break down and major expense.

Many of us treat our personal vehicles (our bodies) as if they have no operating principles. Th en we expect them to run optimally for 80+ years. What A Joke! Most Americans make their choices for fueling (feeding) this body according to their pleasure centers. (What tastes good and what’s convenient.) Very few people pay attention to the other end – the elimination system! If quantity out doesn’t equal quantity in (3 meals in = 3 meals out), you are polluting yourself and heading for a breakdown. You need to, have to, MUST, eliminate waste proportionate to what you eat in order to have a healthy colon (which contains approximately 60% of your immune system).

If you are not inputting proper fuel (preferably organic fruits and vegetables, clean protein) and a minimum of (or no) animal products, grains or stimulants (coff ee, alcohol, dairy tobacco), you are toxic; and toxicity is the source of all health problems. Th is manifests in two ways. 1. Chronic fatigue 2. Toxic strength. Your adrenals are either exhausted or working overtime because of the toxic threat.

The time to start claiming your heritage of good health, vitality, clear thinking, creativity and abundance and joy is now. You are in charge.
