For so many of us, “resurrection” means Easter or Lazarus or Jesus. Or perhaps you’ve heard stories about someone pronounced dead then, all of a sudden, miraculously coming back to life. I’m talking about another kind of resurrection here; something that has been dead for some time that desperately needs to come back to life.

What is missing or seems to have died is: common sense! We have become so “smart” in this technologically advanced 21st century that when we have issues with our precious bodies, we are using drugs, chemicals and man-made substances that do more harm than good. And we ignore the wisdom of our ancestors: those who knew how to survive using remedies from plants, herbs, flowers, roots, oils, poultices, concoctions, etc.

These remedies did not cost an arm or a leg, but were effective: the hot water bottle, for instance. It is a multi-purpose device to warm you when chilled or cleanse you internally by administering an enema or a douche. In the old days the saying was, “cleanliness is next to godliness”. It meant external and internal.

Here’s a thought and a question: Most health problems are due to uncleanness, inside more than outside. Most of us bathe and shower. If we are becoming sick due to internal uncleanness, why aren’t we doing enemas on a regular basis or, better still, having colonics? The enema was commonly used by our ancestors to remedy health problems, before doctors and drug stores became so plentiful.

Most of us become sick due to accumulated toxicity. Enemas and colonics remove toxins from the body, and the body recovers. Pharmaceuticals can add to the toxicity of the body. This does not compute for reclaiming the health of our bodies. The truth is, there are simple, more effective solutions to regaining health.

So, resurrect the dinosaur that has almost become extinct: get cleansed on the inside as well as the outside. Eat healthy, drink healthy, think healthy, act healthy, be healthy!
