Continuing where I left off from the last article…

At the beginning of my healing dilemma, I was at the end of my rope mentally, emotionally and physically – with no answers in sight through western medicine. I was 6 ft tall and weighed 190 lbs.…looking healthy on the outside but feeling close to lifeless on the inside. The doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with my blood work or other tests and thought I was faking it or looking for attention. So, they dismissed me. That’s when I jumped ship and looked to the holistic community.

The answers came little by little. I learned about the fundamental rules for good health and started applying them. For 3 years, I experienced the benefits of good health, vitality, clear thinking, creativity, and so on. I continued to regain my life force and increased my knowledge about deeper cleansing, nutrition and many other methods of body/mind/spirit healing. Little did I know I was about to learn the power and seriousness of natural healing. Slowly and subtly, things began to change until I was feeling worse than I ever did in the years prior to my lifestyle change. I was baffled and perplexed, as I was doing ALL the “right things”. Unbeknownst to me, I was going thru a huge healing crisis. It felt like a tsunami. I was down to 90 pounds and the people in my life were very concerned about me. They thought I was delusional and making myself sick. They intervened by institutionalizing me in a Psychiatric Ward for my own good. I learned many things along my healing journey. But I never gave up or stopped believing in the power of my body to heal itself.

After being released from the psych ward (I was only there four months, as they saw I didn’t belong), I was led to a book that was the missing piece, Colon Health by Norman Walker. In the book he states, “The very best of diets can be no better than the very worst, if the sewage system of the colon is clogged with a collection of waste and corruption.” I learned that Death begins in the colon. Wow! I realized all my work to detox and cleanse was stirring up and releasing 30 years of accumulated waste into my bloodstream with such volume that my elimination organs were overwhelmed and not able to keep up. I was dying in a cesspool of my own filth.

After starting colonics, it was clear that they are the most rapid and efficient way to relieve the body of this toxic burden. I began to feel better immediately and have been doing colonics now for 30 years. I would never be without this extraordinary treatment. I continue to be amazed at how much toxicity the body will hold to keep you safe and have hundreds of stories, (mine and others), of the miracles and relief experienced through colonics.

No one understands the level of toxins we have buried in our bodies like I do. I had 30 years of toxic accumulation and now my long healing journey has produced a healthier, happier, and stronger person. I feel better at 70 than I did at 30 and 40.

Our bodies have a built-in mechanism and desire to heal. It will heal in amazing ways if we in partnership with it. Give it nutrients, exercise, body work and most of all help it needs to relieve the burden of toxins it has accumulated and buried to help you stay alive.
