Do Colonics Cause Dependency?

Over the years, potential clients have told me they are concerned that if they start receiving colonics, their bowels will get lazy and stop working on their own…therefore, their body will become dependent upon colonics. They think that their bodies will need to do colonics for the rest of their lives in order to have bowel movements.
This sounds reasonable I suppose, if you don’t know the facts. Stop and think about this: If you exercise a muscle, does it get lazy and non-functional? Or does it get stronger and more functional? Of course the answer is – it becomes stronger and more functional.
This is what happens when you receive colonics. Your colon is a muscle and when you receive colonics, your colon and entire body become more hydrated; your colon gets exercised and toxins get escorted out. The colon muscles get stronger and more functional. And, you feel energized because the waste matter is no longer in your body.
In the 1940’s and 1950’s, colonic equipment and enemas were used in the hospital setting. Colonics were administered to patients who couldn’t easily get from their beds to the toilet. The patients that could, were given enemas if their bowels didn’t move. As a matter of fact, back then, as the nurse was making her rounds in the morning, the very first question she would ask was “Did your bowels move?” If you said no, she would be back either with the colonic equipment or carrying a red rubber water bottle filled with warm soapy water and you would receive a colonic or enema.
Now in this day and age, very few people know about enemas or colonics (as a society, we are used to taking pills for everything – whatever the issue). Back in the 1940’s and 50’s, pharmaceuticals weren’t readily available. Doctors and laymen alike knew that most problems were relieved by moving the bowels. Today, taking a pill may take care of the symptoms, but not the underlying cause of the problem.
The root of all health problems lies in the gut; which is the home of our immune system (more than 90% of it) and the center for our intuition. Most of our insights come from our intuition. If our gut is stagnant, intuition is not flowing freely. When bad bacteria, fungus and viral loads out number our good bacteria, our immune system is overwhelmed with stagnation, fermentation, inflammation, and toxic waste build up!!! So, by administering an enema (or better yet, a colonic), you jump start your healing by helping your body release the overload.
Everybody, I mean “EVERYBODY” should be doing frequent enemas or colonics…even if you are regular, and especially if you have diarrhea or constipation. With diarrhea, the body has to explosively eliminate the waste. Most people think they are regular if they go to the bathroom once a day. Consider this: Most of us eat three times a day. The equation for health and longevity is “output equal to input”. Quantity in = quantity out. If not, guess what? It is still in you, decomposing and composting…contributing to your breakdown and poor health.
You may think I am a fanatic. You may think, “Really?” Regular enemas or colonics even if you poop every day? That’s crazy! Is it? You shower or bathe every day. You eat every day. You take the garbage out regularly. Why is it of no concern if the garbage doesn’t leave your body sufficiently? Help it out…it’s natural. Get busy. Be clean inside and your outside will show it! You will be healthier mentally, emotionally and physically. Many people can say goodbye to their prescriptions. It doesn’t cost anything to give your colon a drink with an enema. A colonic (which is much more effective) does cost about $80 for a 1-hour session. ($65 for seniors.)
Be well – live lively and be in love with life. Love, Bill
